Joseph Gadama

Prior to joining NML in August 2019, Joseph held the position of Branch Manager
for Transglobe Airtel, managing the sales and distribution of Airtel products in
Blantyre and Limbe as sole distributors since 2013. His duties included
maximizing sales revenue generation, sales and growth of gross subscriber
additions, managing Airtel Money operations in kiosks, execution of value-added
products, customer care management, execution of brand awareness and
promotions on new products and managing a team of sales representatives and
office staff.
Previously, Joseph was head of trade execution at Carlsberg Malawi Ltd, acting as a conduit between brand/channel
marketing and sales aspect. This included strategy and management of standards, point of sale material
management, trade assets management, occasion-based marketing, evaluating trade performance and
consolidation of below-the-line activity plan.
Prior to this, Joseph held the position of Zone Business Manager at Airtel Malawi Ltd where he was overseeing all
operations, sales and distribution of airtel products in southern Malawi. In charge of 4 territory managers and 7
distributors in Airtel sales and distribution model of recharge vouchers, gross subscriber additions and mobile
money.
